Misconduct card totals are accumulated through a soccer year. The soccer year starts with the Fall season and ends after the Summer season. The sanctions listed below are for total misconduct points during one soccer year.

The points are as follows

Individual Totals:

Caution Points (points assessed for yellow and/or red cards):

The following penalties are minimums and are enforceable during the entire soccer year for a player, coach, or assistant coach who receives:

Twelve (12) caution points - one (1) game suspension

Eighteen (18) caution points - two (2) game suspension

Twenty-four (24) caution points - suspension pending a hearing with the NTSSA A&D Committee

Send offs:

First send off - one (1) game suspension

Second send off - an additional two (2) game suspension (if one or both send offs were after receipt of two (2) yellow cards)

Third send off - suspension pending a hearing with the NTSSA A&D Committee (could be suspended upon second send off if both send offs were for receipt of red cards)

Each caution and/or ejection will be graded by the A&D Chairman on a scale of 1-4, (with the exception of red cards that were not the result of two cautions, these will be 12 points.) and these point totals are not able to be appealed.

A send off that is the result of two (2) cautions in the same game shall be graded as two cautions, not one ejection.

(these guidelines were pulled directly from the North Texas A&D Manual.)

b. Second time suspended - $50
c. Third time suspended - $100
